May 17th 2010.......

We are planning to hold our second golf day at Petworth Golf Club on Saturday 4th September.

The day is open to regular members of Dynamo. Golfers of any standard are welcome, beginners, complete novices, bandits and golfers are all welcome, even if you don't own the golfing gear, I have some spare golf clubs and shoes.

The general format is as follows:
Bacon rolls and coffee
18 holes of golf or very long walk
BBQ supper

All for £30 for the day

 

Dynamo Haslemere Football Tournament 2010

For the past six years Dynamo Haslemere FC has organised a Veterans Football Tournament. Every tournament has been an absolute success, with everyone having an incredibly enjoyable day. And at the same time raising funds for our chosen charity, the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Each year we invite several local teams to take part along with our special friends from France. "Les Arcbusiers" from Bernay, Normandy (Haslemere's twin town in France). Our 7th annual Veterans Football Tournament will take place on Saturday 29th May 2010. The venue will be the same as the last few years, Hindhead Playing Fields, near Haslemere ( signposted "PGL" on the Beacon Hill Road). This years tournament will be made up of a number of six-a-side teams. Local teams will be invited to take part, for more information contact Darryl "Albert" Hall by email on fixtures@dynamohaslemere.org. As well as organising the tournament we will be arranging an after-tournament "Evening Do" for the Saturday night. There will also be a welcoming evening for the French on the friday night before the tournament.

 

French Tour

For several years Dynamo Haslemere FC has enjoyed the hospitality of the boys from Bernay "Les Arcbusiers". Better hosts you could not find, however they won't go so far as to let us beat them at football.

The French have confirmed the date for their tournament this year. It’s on Saturday 12th/Sunday 13th June. More details to follow in due course, but the previous plan has been for an advance party to travel out on the Friday morning, with others joining late Friday night/overnight. Price wise you’re looking at about £250 all in for travel, hotel, and drinks/food.
